I'm in such a weird mood right now, so excuse me if this post looks like I have ADD.
Righty-ho.
I have finished Standard Grade Chemistry! Unsexy chemistry will haunt my life no more! Actually, come to think of it I'm finished my studies of the sciences forever. Maths forever. Logic forever! I get to do the creative wanky bullshit stuff mixed with general knowledge and life skills full-time! In layman's terms: English, Modern Studies, Music, French and Philosophy! Yup, it's going to be delicious.
Alas, I'm not going to totally unashamedly bash the sciences. I've learned a decent bit more about the world around me is like from SG Chemistry and Physics, but let's be honest; for me to do the Higher would be pushing it and getting slightly too career-ey for my liking. Here is a list of the things I have found useful/interesting in both of the courses:
- Some stuff about elements
- Some stuff about metals/corrosion
- Some stuff about acid
- Some stuff about fuel/renewable energy
- Space Physics
- Radiation
- Some stuff from Health Physics
- Some stuff about forces
- Some stuff about energy
- Knowing what not to touch in a plug
I think that about sums it up. A decent list, though there is some emphasis on the some.
I wouldn't be surprised in the next few days if I act like my exams are totally finished... but they're not. I still have a niggling little examen en español, la semana próximo. Es muy molesto.
