This one is gonna be a quicky guys, along with tomorrow where I'll have basically no opportunity to blog.
Today marked my first day as an adventurer in the exciting world of dungeons and dragons. I'm proud to introduce myself as Bernard, the Half-Elf Cleric on his mission along with Tiffany, the human wizard. We killed a shit load of zombies and a necromancer, pretended to worship a white dragon to get his magical shit, then laughed as goblins fell onto tables in their attempt to attack us with daggers.
I was not expecting to even understand the game day one, let alone being legitimately invested in our plight. We had to make tough decisions, as one wrong word could lead to toasty death. For those who say this is only a game for nerds, you try avoiding being blinded by a pissed off goblin shaman who is intermittently on fire.
It's more that anything, an intellectual exercise. Case and point - we had to solve this riddle today:
'No man has walked on this road before,
Yet there is a man at the end of the road.'
Let me know your guesses, answer tomorrow!
Yeah, it was kinda like that.

i think the man either ran/hopped/skipped down the road or built the road.
ReplyDeleteI hope he hopped.
Is it the shadow of the man standing at the start of the road?
