I am so shit at things...
Ohai there!
This month, I've decided to blog every single day. Why, you ask? Because I think it's important to write, and also to think. Having recently left the world of academia (mainly out of boredom), people are no longer paid to listen to me pontificate - so I'm taking it out on you. The lure of money and hanging about with the arty farties is what I'm all about now, and shifting to the world of work has offered a few more insights than I would have had in the cotton wool of the Anderson High School.
I do now lack a pretense with which to write under though, so I thought this blog might be a way to involve my mind in something unrelated to batch printing or popcorn. They have their place, and that place is at work. I really would like this to be an interactive experience, so please get involved by suggesting things for us to talk about. I'll share thoughts, pop culture, and stories with you - mainly pop culture - and want to hear your responses. Hopefully this will be a very successful month, as long as
a) I don't have some kind of nervous breakdown
b) I am able to find the time to write properly
c) anybody actually reads this
d) the Mayan's didn't fuck up their calendar and the world actually ends mid-November instead of at Christmas
Tomorrow, I'm going to write about growing up. OH THE JOYS!
